Dharmendra, Dimple Kapadia to star together after 31 years

One of Bollywood’s most popular couples, Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia, are about to reunite for the first time in 31 years for a project with Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. The legendary pair is credited with starring together in the 1980s and 1990s blockbusters Batwara, Dushman Devta, and Saazish.

According to reports, Dharmendra is currently filming the movie in single takes while in Rajasthan. In Jaisalmer, the movie has been in production since December 15.

The entire cast of the untitled movie will then fly to northern India to begin filming the following schedule.

Shahid and Kriti’s first on-screen partnership will be in this movie. Shahid will play a robotic character in this comedy movie.

On the work front…

In terms of his professional life, Dharmendra will also appear in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, a movie directed by Karan Johar and starring Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan. For the Apne sequel, he will also get to see his sons Sunny and Bobby again.

Furthermore, the Yamla Pagla Deewana actor also disclosed that he will work with Johnny Ghaddar director Sriram Raghavan once more on the movie Ikkis, according to ETimes.

Moreover the work front for Dimple Kapadia includes the recent film Thursday, starring Yami Gautam and Neha Dhupia was produced for an OTT platform.
