A proud moment when three more Pakistanis got included in the Forbes 30 under 30 list. Forbes features young artists, entrepreneurs, activists, to appreciate and applaud their efforts and contribution to society. This time Abdullah Siddiqui, Misha Japanwala, and Hannia Zia are making all of us proud.

Three Pakistani’s added to Forbes 30 under 30 list

The new artist, Abdullah Siddiqui, has delivered three music albums till now. The publication said that the vocalist started producing English language electronic music at 11 years old and began producing it as an autonomous artist when he was only 16 years old.

It further added, “The young artist from Lahore has shown up on Nescafé Basement. It is a Pakistani TV musical arrangement that features the music of underground artists. He has composed and created music for some of the remarkable vocalists in Pakistan. That includes Fawad Khan, Meesha Shafi, Shamoon Ismail, and Aima Baig.”

The singer took to his Instagram and wrote, “Forbes 30 Under 30. I’m completely stunned and so incredibly grateful. To everyone who helped me get here, thank you.”

Who is Hannia Zia?

Another Pakistani who got included in the Forbes list is the governmental official Hannia Zia. Talking about Zia, Forbes shared that Zia is the Pakistani Government’s sole product manager of its pandemic tech reaction. Moreover, she is one of the three established members of the Prime Minister’s initiative, Digital Pakistan.

About Hannia Zia, Forbes wrote, “She launched a WhatsApp bot to spread Covid-19 awareness in seven local languages that have connected to 500,000 users and were endorsed by Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, as well as a Covid-19 ringtone, which has been heard by 113 million Pakistanis.”

Hannia took to Twitter to show her gratitude for the title, she wrote, “So humbled and grateful to be on #ForbesUnder30 for my work on Pakistan’s Covid-19 tech response”

Misha Japanwala

The last inclusion is Misha Japanwala. Forbes wrote, “Misha Japanwala is a visual artist and designer whose work addresses issues such as domestic violence and honor killings in Pakistan. She collaborated with Gigi Hadid last year on a sculptural mask for a special issue of V Magazine that the supermodel guest-edited.”

It further read, “Another of Japanwala’s works, a collection of breastplates and other wearable body castings, was featured in a six-page spread in Vogue Spain in 2018, modeled by French model Cindy Bruna.”

Misha announced it on her Instagram while thanking the publication. She wrote, “Honoured and humbled (and shocked!!!) to be on the Forbes 30under30 list. Truly never imagined I would say those words.”
