Women’s Song Jawad Ahmed lyrics

Yeh hamari hi behen betiyaan hain
Yeh mayen bhi hain biviyaan hain
Jahan aurat hi mehfooz na hou
Wo samaaj khatam houjata hai
Harasgi ke dar se bhara yeh samaa
Jab sab mil ker badlain gey
Yeh parhain chahay ya kaam karain
Inhain har dum agay barhna hai
Yeh ghar per houn ya bahir hun
Inhain chain sakoon se jeenaa hai

Jawad Ahmed Giving a new and strong definition to ‘mera jism meri marzi’

The song then proceeds towards the line that gives a new, stronger definition to the famous slogan from Aurat March ‘Mera jism meri marzi.’ Ahmed beautifully encapsulates the entire soul of the song with the lyrics, ‘jab inki rooh bhi inki hai tou inka wajood bhi inka hai’ (when the soul are hers, then their bodies are also their belonging).
