Life happenings and much more!
You know how you get really enthusiastic about something for a couple of days, it takes over your thoughts for a couple of days, and then a few months later, after you’ve completely forgotten about it, it reappears out of nowhere? Or have you ever set an absurd goal, never looked at it again, and subsequently realized you’ve already reached it? Rhonda Byrne explained life events using the law of attraction and whatever we desire in our lives. Not only that, but the book also teaches us how to manage our thoughts.
Rhonda Byrne author
Rhonda Byrne is a television writer and producer from Australia. The Secret, a New Thought book, is based on the law of attraction. She went on to write multiple sequels to The Secret, including The Power, The Magic, and Hero, as well as other books related to it.
The Secret by Rhonda Byrne
The Secret proposes a number of unusual, interesting, and maybe divisive ideas, including:
- You can achieve practically any goal you set your mind to if you focus your attention on it and think not only that you can do it, but that you have already done it.
- If you concentrate on something you don’t want, you will unintentionally attract that into your life. If you persistently obsess on what is bothering you, for example, you will attract more of those situations (and the associated worried feelings) into your life. Instead, concentrate on what you do want in your life, and you will have more of it.
- Relationships, possessions, objectives, and anything else you can focus on—even your own health—are all affected by the Law of Attraction, which states that you attract whatever you spend your energy on (good or negative).
Rhonda Byrne shares the deeper secrets of The Secret!
The book also provides further insights and precise tactics to employ, as well as a history of the application of the Law of Attraction and examples of how it has worked in the lives of various people, making it an engaging and instructive read.
The fundamental advantage of this book is that it empowers the reader. It reminds you that, even if things appear hopeless, there is a lot you can do to improve your situation. There’s a lot behind this, given research on optimism, visualization, and the influence of perspective.
The only criticism of the Law of Attraction’s idea is that we create our own difficult circumstances in life; the obvious examples of children born into different kinds of abuse or millions of people born into extreme poverty don’t seem to fit well with that explanation of reality. The Law of Attraction itself can be controversial, as it’s not a scientifically proven ‘law’, but more of an anecdotally observed phenomenon.
If viewed from the same perspective, The Secret is without a doubt a remarkable and life-changing book. However, you may only be able to do so if you approach this with a positive mindset. This book may be able to open your eyes and expand your horizons. Furthermore, your horizon. Aside from a few minor quibbles, this is a fantastic read!
