Ramadan is surely a month of blessings and serenity. For decades and decades, Muslims all around the world gather and share happiness through fasting in the holy month of Ramadan. While being the fifth Pillars of Islam, it is considered one of the holiest Islamic months. Muslims believe that some of the first verses of the Islamic holy book, the Qu’ran, were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad during the month of Ramadan.

Every 90’s kid should remember this vividly. Good old PTV days and a lot of us remember it word by word due to the constant airing of Qaseeda Burda Shareef on PTV. This year a rendition came from Fareed Ayaz and Abu Muhammad along with Sanam Marvi, which has old lyrics but a very fresh feel to it. Qawaal Fareed Ayaz and Abu Muhammad are famous for their qawallis and contribution to Coke Studio.
