K-pop sensation BTS released their second album of 2020 “BE” today. The collection, following February’s Map of the Soul: 7, features the group’s smashing hit “Dynamite.”
The K-pop supergroup dropped BE (Deluxe Edition), which features eight tracks, including the hit song “Dynamite” and lead single ‘Life Goes On,’ as well as ‘Fly to My Room,’ ‘Blue & Grey, ‘Skit,’ ‘Telepathy,’ ‘Dis-ease,’ and ‘Stay.’
RM said that the album had been planned before the release of hit single ‘Dynamite’ and that it was made over a period of several months. The album was made in “a collaborative process with fans,” RM said. “We all learned how to use new cameras.”
With BE, BTS explore the ’emotions and ruminations’ they had throughout the year, according to a press release. The album’s title stands for ‘to be’ or ‘existence,’ in an abstract form.
BTS touches on the pandemic and its tough effects on people around the world. The lead single, an alternative hip-hop track set to acoustic guitar, aims to comfort audiences facing unexpected turns with the message: ‘Life goes on.’ And they all intend to create a positive effect through their album for their fans and followers.
