Kirron Kher is an Indian theatre artist, actress, singer, and politician from Chandigarh. Born in Chandigarh Kirron became an actress in 1983 with her movie Aasra Pyar Da, and after a long gap she appeared in the movie Pestonjee in 1987, and then she returned to acting in mid-90. She has done movies like ‘Rang De Basanti, Devdas, Dostana, Main Hoon Na, Fanaa, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, Hum Tum, Veer Zara, and Singh is King.’ And won several awards for her contribution to films.
Kirron Kher diagnosed with blood cancer
Anupam Kher announced the news in a post over social media, he wrote,
“Just so that rumors don’t get the better of a situation Sikandar and I would like to inform everyone that Kirron has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. She is currently undergoing treatment and we are sure she will come out of this stronger than before.”
Furthermore, he said, “We are very blessed that she is being looked after by a phenomenal set of doctors. She’s always been a fighter and takes things head on. She is all heart that is why she has so many people that love her.”
He concluded, “So keep sending your love to her in your prayers and in your heart. She is well on her way to recovery and we thank everyone for their support and love.”
